Four esports titles on the board

CS2 holds most of the esports list, with Dota 2 second. Each title runs as its own list with separate tournaments.

Counts change daily as matches are added and settled.

Esports settle like any other sport: decimal odds, singles and multis on the same slip. Bet types are under bet types and odds.

Two titles are tactical shooters, CS2 and Valorant, and two are strategy games, Dota 2 and League of Legends. Shooters split into rounds, strategy games into one long fight per game, and the markets follow that split.

Esports run all year without a single off-season, and tournaments in Europe, Asia and the Americas overlap. The list refills as one event ends and the next opens.

Prices work as in any sport. A Bo3 match at 1.40 against 2.90 implies 71.4% and 34.5%, and the 5.9% above 100% is the bookmaker's margin.

Counter-Strike 2 tournaments

Counter-Strike 2 is a five-on-five tactical shooter. A map goes to the first team to win 13 rounds, with overtime at 12–12, and teams swap sides at half-time. Overtime runs in blocks of six rounds, and the first team to four rounds in a block takes the map.

One side plants the bomb and the other defends or defuses it. Money earned each round buys weapons for the next, so a lost pistol round at the start of a half can shape several rounds after it.

IEM, BLAST and PGL events draw the leading international teams. One CS2 match was in play at the check, and the list grows as qualifiers finish.

Intel Extreme Masters Beijing holds the largest share with eight matches, and FiReSPORTS Last Chance follows with five. Smaller online cups fill the gaps between the big events.

Seven maps make up the competitive pool, and each team strikes the maps it does not want before a series. The maps are known before the first round, and prices can move once they are.

Dota 2 events

Dota 2 is a five-on-five strategy game in which each team aims to destroy the other's Ancient. Teams pick and ban heroes in a draft before each game, and a game has no fixed length.

Most games run between half an hour and an hour. Objectives such as towers and Roshan swing a game, and live prices react to each team fight.

  • EPL Masters III, group stage: 4 matches;
  • P Universe: 3 matches;
  • EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 19: 1 match;
  • Esports Pro Circuit Season 3: 1 match;
  • Nexus Series II: 1 match.

Ten Dota 2 matches were upcoming at the check. Each listed match can be a series of several games.

EPL Masters III leads the Dota 2 list with four group-stage matches, and P Universe adds three. Southeast Asian and regional circuits fill the rest.

Group stages in Dota 2 often use two-game series, which can end 1–1. In that format a draw is a real outcome, and the match market can carry three prices.

League of Legends World Championship

League of Legends is a five-on-five strategy game on the Summoner's Rift map, won by destroying the other team's Nexus. The World Championship closes each competitive season.

Each game opens with a draft of five bans and five picks per team. Dragons and Baron Nashor give buffs that often decide the late game.

Games often run 30 to 40 minutes, and an early lead in gold and objectives tends to snowball. Live prices react to every dragon, tower and team fight.

Two Worlds matches sat on the board at the check. Knockout matches at Worlds run as longer series, so a single match can span several games.

Worlds moves from an opening stage to a Swiss stage and then to knockout rounds. Teams arrive from regional leagues in Korea, China, Europe, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region.

Valorant tournaments

Valorant is a five-on-five tactical shooter with agents and abilities. Like CS2, a map goes to the first team to win 13 rounds, and overtime needs a two-round lead.

The VALORANT Game Changers Championship and VCT Threshold China listed two matches each at the check. Game Changers is the circuit for women and marginalised genders, and one Valorant match was in play.

Valorant listed four upcoming matches, the second-smallest esports list after League of Legends. The list grows during international events and shrinks between them.

Agent picks happen before each map, and attackers carry the Spike while defenders hold the sites. Round markets work the same way as in CS2.

The VCT season runs through regional leagues in the Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China, then international Masters events and the year-end Champions. The Game Changers Championship closes the women's circuit each year.

Series formats from Bo1 to Bo5

Esports matches run as series of maps or games. The format decides how many maps are played and which markets make sense.

In CS2 and Valorant the teams ban and pick maps before the series starts. In Dota 2 and League of Legends the draft of heroes or champions happens before each game.

The same team can play a Bo1 in a group stage and a Bo5 in the final of one event, so the format of each match matters more than the tournament name.

Longer series favour the stronger team, because one bad map hurts less over three or five. Upsets are more common in a single map for the same reason.

Bo1

One map or game decides the match. Common in early group stages and qualifiers.

Bo2

Two games, so the match can end 1–1. Some Dota 2 group stages use it, and the match market then carries a draw.

Bo3

The first team to win two maps takes the match. Most CS2, Dota 2 and Valorant playoff matches use it.

Bo5

The first team to win three maps takes the match. Grand finals and the late rounds of Worlds use it.

Esports market types

Esports markets split a series into maps and rounds. The main types work the same way across the four titles.

Markets differ by tournament and match. A Bo1 qualifier can carry only a winner price, while a Bo3 playoff opens map and round markets.

Match winner

The team that wins the series. A two-way price in most matches, three-way when a Bo2 can end level.

Map picks published before the series can move the price.

Map winner

The team that wins one named map or game of the series, such as map 2.

In a CS2 or Valorant Bo3, each team picks one map and the leftover map decides.

Map handicap

A head start in maps, such as −1.5 on a Bo3, which needs a 2–0 win.

The other side at +1.5 wins if it takes at least one map.

Total maps

Over or under a line on maps played, such as 2.5 on a Bo3: over wins only if the series goes to a third map.

Under 2.5 wins on any 2–0 result, whichever team takes it.

Round handicap

A head start in rounds on one CS2 or Valorant map, such as −3.5, settled on the final round score of that map.

At +3.5 the other side wins the bet by taking the map or losing it by three rounds or fewer.

Total rounds

Over or under a line on rounds played on one map, such as 21.5. A 13–7 map has 20 rounds and goes under; any overtime pushes it over.

Live esports and cash out

Live esports markets run on matches in play, with odds that move round by round or fight by fight. Two matches were in play at the check, one in CS2 and one in Valorant.

Markets can be suspended during pauses and between maps. A live bet counts only once the slip confirms it.

In shooters the live price moves after each round, and a team that loses the pistol round often drops in price for the next few rounds. In Dota 2 and League of Legends it moves after team fights and objectives such as Roshan or Baron Nashor.

  • Same Game Multi: cash out is not available;
  • player props: cash out only before the match starts;
  • events without live coverage: no cash out in play;
  • cashed-out and voided bets earn no rakeback.

Live streaming runs alongside the in-play markets on covered matches. Cash out locks in the value offered at that moment.

How to bet on esports

An esports bet needs an account with a confirmed e-mail and a funded wallet. INR or crypto both fund the same slip, in the browser or in the web app.

  1. Sign up and confirm the e-mail address.
  2. Deposit INR or a supported coin from the wallet.
  3. Open Sports and choose CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends or Valorant.
  4. Pick a tournament and a match, then a market.
  5. Click a price, enter the bet amount and place the bet.

Esports legs combine with football and other sports on one multi. A voided leg counts at 1.00, and Stake Shield works on multis of three or more legs.

INR deposits run Wallet → Deposit → Indian Rupee → a third-party payment page and are credited within up to 24 hours. Crypto deposits are credited after network confirmation.

Deposits and withdrawals need a confirmed e-mail, and identity checks follow the steps under the verification steps. INR withdrawals go by bank transfer with the IFSC code and take up to 3 business days.

Rules and limits

Placed bets cannot be cancelled by the player; Edit Bet changes a bet where the feature is available. Esports bets count 3× towards VIP progress, like all sports bets.

The sportsbook may cancel or amend a bet only if the event is suspended or cancelled, the bet or its odds hold an obvious error, the bet breaks the Terms, or the law requires it. Rakeback on esports bets is 3.5% of their theoretical value at a 3% house edge.

Stake Smart sets loss and wager limits per day, week or month, and Break in Play pauses the account for 1 day, 2 days, 1 week or 1 month. Product Exclusion blocks the sportsbook on its own, esports included.

Sports betting carries a risk of loss. Help is free on Tele-MANAS 14416, around the clock; a separate page explains how Indian law treats betting.
